The 9190A ultra-cool field metrology well is an extremely accurate and stable cold temperature dry-block calibrator. It’s ideal for applications that demand strict quality control and regulatory process compliance. The unit features a wide temperature range that brackets the coldest and highest temperatures required for most pharmaceutical, laboratory research, and food processing applications. Typical applications include calibrating temperature sensors used with process control equipment such as laboratory research freezers, cleanrooms, sterilizers, and freeze dryers.

The calibrator comes in two models types: the 9190A and the 9190A-P "process" version that combines the heat source with a built-in thermometer input panel. The input panel has an input for an external reference/control thermometer that makes it possible to perform a transmitter loop calibration, comparison calibration, or a simple check of a temperature sensor. In addition, the input panel can read resistance and current from a probe. For probes that require power to operate, the 4 to 20 mA input has a loop-power function that can source up to 24 volts of power.
