This tube rack and storage box of expanded polystyrene (EPS) holds 100 microcentrifuge tubes and cryovials up to 2.0 mL. The deep wells and conical bottom keep tubes fixed in place, and the lid fits tightly enough to ensure tube safety during handling. Stacking system includes circular feet on the bottoms that mate with circular depressions on the lids. Centered indentations in the lid and base make removing a rack from the freezer easy, even if the rack is in the middle or bottom of the stack. Convenient alphanumerics located in the base keeps track of tubes.
